At the bottom of the North Sea lies the world’s largest fully integrated pipeline system of natural gas. We operate 8600 kilometers of pipeline network, which is roughly the distance from Oslo to Bangkok. Measured in energy quantity, Norway transports enough gas to meet the annual needs of 800 million people. Natural gas is one of the largest sources of electricity production in Europe, and our deliveries cover approximately a quarter of Europe’s total energy consumption.
